- Strong Route/Switch technical understanding
- Hands-on Cisco Routers, Switches, etc.
- CLI config, installs, testing, troubleshooting, monitoring, maintenance, moves/adds/ changes (Level 2 or L3)

- Service as L2 or L3 escalation engineer to resolve operational issues.
Required
- Some hands on Firewalls, VPN, NAT, DNS, DHCP, etc.
- High level device Security, ACLs, VLAN, Policies, etc.
- Understand device security best practices
Required
- Used monitoring tools such as: Splunk, Solarwinds, Wireshark, etc.
- Monitor network performance proactively
Required
Deep understanding of OSI model, TCP/IP stack
Required
- Understands Change Management process, config standards for hardware
- Install and configure devices following change control

Verify, update network related documentation, SOPs
Required
Clear English communication skills, able to articulate issues with end users or others. Able to write clearly & concise

Liaison between IT & OT departments, team members
