Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Senior IBM Sterling B2B Integrator (EDI) Developer to design, develop, maintain, and support enterprise EDI integration solutions. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with IBM Sterling B2B Integrator, EDI mapping, business process development, and production support in high-volume enterprise environments.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy EDI integration solutions using IBM Sterling B2B Integrator.
- Develop and maintain BPML business processes, workflows, and adapters.
- Create and support EDI maps for ANSI X12, EDIFACT, XML, JSON, CSV, and Flat File formats.
- Configure and support communication protocols including AS2, FTP, SFTP, and VAN.
- Monitor EDI transactions, troubleshoot production issues, and optimize system performance.
- Develop integrations using APIs, Web Services, XML, XSLT, and related technologies.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Support trading partner onboarding and integration activities.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog refinement, reviews, and retrospectives.
- Mentor junior developers and provide technical leadership throughout the project lifecycle.
Required Qualifications
- 15+ years of overall IT experience.
- Strong hands-on experience with IBM Sterling B2B Integrator (version 5.2.6 or higher).
- Extensive experience developing BPML business processes.
- Strong knowledge of EDI standards including ANSI X12 and EDIFACT.
- Experience working with XML, JSON, CSV, and Flat File integrations.
- Hands-on experience with AS2, FTP, SFTP, and VAN communication protocols.
- Strong SQL and DB2 database experience.
- Experience with APIs, Web Services, XML, and XSLT.
- Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience working within Agile development environments.
