They are seeking a Technologist++ | Software Engineer to design, build, and maintain high-quality software solutions while collaborating with senior engineers and stakeholders. Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with other senior engineers and stakeholders to understand requirements, propose technical approaches, and implement robust, scalable features
- Write clean, testable code, review peer code, debug and resolve issues, and improve application performance
- Integrate into a new AI infused CI/CD to begin making contributions on day one
- Help define and refine engineering best practices, contribute to architectural decisions, and participate in regular planning and retrospectives
- Document technical decisions, provide clear status updates, and work closely with product and operations teams to deliver reliable, user-centered software
Requirements:
- Possesses strong software development skills, including proficiency in at least one modern programming language (such as Java, Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, Go, or similar) and familiarity with common frameworks
- Demonstrates solid understanding of software architecture and design principles, including object-oriented design is highly coveted and the ability to write modular code
- Be prepared to develop automations around these event-driven processes
- Has experience with modern development practices, such as version control (Git), code reviews, automated testing, CI/CD pipelines, and agile or iterative workflows
- Understands cloud and infrastructure concepts, including deploying and operating applications on cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP), containers, and basic monitoring and observability
- Exhibits strong problem-solving and analytical abilities, with a focus on debugging complex issues and improving reliability and performance
- Skills in at least one are or a background as well or aptitude in learning hardware engineering, modeling in blender, GTM strategies, or anything even across photonics or a law background to help with attorney counsel duties on the side is welcome and all demographics are welcome to apply from across the U.S. or abroad
- If you are currently a student graduating and completing soon from secondary school, currently an undergrad, about to graduate, or recently graduated undergrad you are also welcome even if with no formal experience outside of college/Uni to contribute
- Communicates clearly in writing and verbally, collaborates effectively in remote teams, and is comfortable working across time zones using digital collaboration tools
- Shows a learning mindset and adaptability, with an interest in exploring new technologies, improving processes, and contributing beyond narrow role boundaries
- Holds a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or has equivalent practical experience
- Prior experience in a startup or evolving environment is a plus but not required
