OpenIngress is seeking a Software Engineer to work directly with customers to audit product flows and diagnose agent failures. The role involves building prototypes, integrating solutions, and translating field learnings into product requirements and recommendations.
Responsibilities:
- Run technical discovery across public pages, authenticated flows, dashboards, docs, onboarding, checkout, and support surfaces
- Use browser automation, accessibility-tree inspection, traces, screenshots, and product telemetry to diagnose why agents fail
- Build customer-specific prototypes, remediation examples, integrations, and repeatable audit workflows
- Translate field learnings into product requirements, internal tooling, benchmark cases, and research-backed recommendations
Requirements:
- Strong engineering experience across frontend systems, APIs, browser automation, web accessibility, or developer tooling
- Comfort working directly with customer engineering and product teams in ambiguous technical environments
- Ability to debug messy web apps, explain root causes clearly, and turn one-off findings into reusable product improvements
- Interest in AI agents, agentic browsing, semantic HTML, enterprise workflows, and the future of machine-operable software
