They are seeking a Power Systems / Electrical Engineer intern to support the design and analysis of modular power systems, including modeling, simulation, and basic electrical calculations under the guidance of senior engineers.
Responsibilities:
- Support the design and analysis of modular power systems, including modeling, simulation, and basic electrical calculations under the guidance of senior engineers
- Daily tasks may include electrical schematics, reviewing system requirements, contributing to power distribution layouts, and preparing technical documentation
- Collaborate with cross-functional team members to refine system concepts, identify potential design improvements, and help test or validate power system components and configurations
Requirements:
- Master's, PhD or in process of Phd in Power Systems and Electrical Engineering
- Expertise in Power System Electrical Design
- Extensive Knowledge of largescale Power Systems, above 20MW, with examples
- Deep Understanding of US Power Distribution
- +5 years Experience with simulation tools (e.g., PSCAD, MATLAB/Simulink, PSSE, ETAP, or similar)
