Advanced Cyber Security Engineer

Diverse Lynx is a company focused on providing advanced cyber security solutions, and they are seeking an Advanced Cyber Security Engineer to enhance their security operations. The role involves customizing and developing Palo Alto XSOAR workflows, automating incident response processes, and integrating various security tools and platforms.

Responsibilities:

• Customize and enhance Palo Alto XSOAR workflows and integrations
• Automate SOC and incident response processes using Python
• Integrate security tools and platforms using APIs
• Onboard and maintain data sources in Splunk
• Evaluate and implement security automation solutions
• Support continuous improvement of security operations and monitoring

Requirements:

• Palo Alto XSOAR (SOAR) customization and development
• Strong Python development experience (Django/Flask preferred)
• Splunk or SIEM platform experience
• REST API development and integrations
• Security Operations Center (SOC) and Incident Response knowledge
• SQL/Database experience
• Linux, Git, and Nginx exposure
• 6–8+ years of overall experience
• 2+ years of hands-on XSOAR/SOAR experience
• 5+ years of Python development experience
• Experience with Splunk and security automation
• Strong troubleshooting and communication skills
