Labcorp is a leader in diagnostics, drug development and healthcare innovation. The Executive Director, Business Development for Central Lab Services is responsible for leading a team focused on driving sales performance, expanding market presence, and strengthening client relationships.
Responsibilities:
- Achieve or exceed annual sales goals for the assigned team
- Manage, coach, mentor, and guide Business Development Directors
- Hire and develop diverse talent across the team
- Assign accounts and territories and forecast contribution to global sales goals
- Deliver team sales performance against established targets
- Conduct quarterly reviews of team account plans
- Partner with sales leaders across business units to develop client relationships and joint opportunities
- Manage team performance and provide feedback and development planning
- Monitor and control team operating expenses
- Facilitate internal collaboration with operational partners
- Identify and execute process improvement opportunities
- Utilize SFDC to manage pipeline, forecasting, and sales metrics
- Gather and communicate market intelligence and competitive insights
Requirements:
- 10 years' experience selling services to pharmaceutical and biotech organizations with executive-level client interaction
- Bachelors degree
- 4 years sales leadership experience
