CERM is a growing company in the label and packaging market, seeking a Business Development Manager for North America. The role involves pursuing new sales, managing customer relationships, and executing sales strategies to achieve revenue targets.
Responsibilities:
- Actively pursue new sales and manage all sales activities within existing and new customers and partners
- Execute CERM’s sales, marketing and support strategies to ensure highest customer satisfaction in the territory
- Build and maintain a detailed knowledge of the CERM product and the Label and Packaging market
- Provide timely and accurate territory reporting and forecasting to CERM management utilizing our CRM ( Zoho) at its best
- Provide regular feedback to marketing and management regarding the local territory and the CERM products
- Communicate regularly with key contacts of customers, prospects and partners through personal visits, video conferences, telephone calls, etc
- Attend and represent CERM at trade shows and open houses
- Achieve quarterly and annual revenue targets
- Manage development of prospects and successful completion of new business sales for software license agreements and consulting services
- Implement and execute sales and marketing strategies, optimized for your territory
- Facilitate 1st level demos for customers and prospects
- Facilitate access and use of additional resources like the CERM ROI calculator in order to provide contacts with comprehensive analysis and diligence of product offering
Requirements:
- At least 3 years of experience in sales and marketing (preferably in a complex software industry or in the Label, Folding Carton, Flexible Packaging industries)
- Experience selling software and a good technical understanding of software systems
- Ability to manage accounts at a high level within the assigned region
- Excellent presentation and negotiation skills
- Proven track record of meeting/exceeding both individual and team sales quota/goals
- Confidence and experience in turning cold calls into revenue-generating accounts
- Ability to handle complex technical sales cycles
- Willingness to travel nationally or internationally for up to 50% of your time
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and possible French
- Ability to work out of your home office
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Solid interpersonal skills and very team oriented
