AI Software Engineer - Remote

Insider One is a leading platform focused on marketing and customer engagement, utilizing AI and data integration to empower businesses. They are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to design, implement, and maintain web-based products, leveraging AI technologies and fostering a collaborative team culture.

Responsibilities:

• Use AI-powered development tools as part of your daily engineering workflow to improve how you design, implement, test, debug, document, review, and ship software
• Designing, implementing, and maintaining APIs, services, and backend systems with a strong focus on scalability, reliability, and maintainability
• Experimenting with emerging AI development approaches and helping the team adopt practical, high-impact engineering workflows
• Identifying and solving complex technical challenges creatively and effectively
• Nurturing a team culture that fosters collaboration, high performance, continuous learning, and responsible experimentation
• Providing guidance and support to team members, helping them develop their technical skills and improve their modern engineering practices
• Monitoring and optimizing key system and product performance metrics

Requirements:

• You've had 4+ years of designing highly scalable and highly available systems, most of it in Go
• You have practical experience using AI-powered developer tools such as Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, OpenAI Codex, Cursor, or similar
• You can apply AI tools effectively across design, implementation, testing, debugging, refactoring, documentation, and code review
• You take pride in your engineering practices
• Quality, testing, observability, and documentation are not an afterthought for you
• You are comfortable working in ambiguous, fast-moving technical areas where best practices are still evolving
• You are a good communicator and fluent in English
• Experience with agentic AI development patterns such as tool/function calling, RAG, multi-step workflows, human-in-the-loop systems, agents, skills, hooks, or plugins
• Experience with LLMs, prompt engineering, Agent SDKs, or AI orchestration frameworks such as Strands Agents, LangChain, LlamaIndex, or similar
• Experience evaluating emerging AI developer tools and translating useful practices into team-wide engineering standards
