Job Description:

Marathon Petroleum is seeking an experienced Infrastructure Architect to design and support secure, scalable hybrid infrastructure solutions across Azure cloud and on-premises Windows environments. This is a hands-on architecture role, requiring a balance of solution design and implementation support while working closely with engineering and security teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and support hybrid cloud infrastructure architectures (Azure + On-Prem).
• Drive infrastructure modernization and network segmentation initiatives.
• Support IAM/PAM solutions, Active Directory, and Entra ID integrations.
• Develop architecture standards, documentation, and implementation plans.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to accelerate project delivery.
• Contribute to secure, resilient, and scalable platform designs.

Required Skills:

• Enterprise Infrastructure Architecture (Compute, Storage, Networking).
• Azure Cloud Architecture and Hybrid Connectivity.
• Windows Server Administration and Active Directory.
• Network Security, Firewalls, VPNs, VLANs, Routing & Switching.
• IAM, PAM, RBAC, Entra ID (Azure AD).
• Virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V.
• Experience working in segmented, secure, or regulated environments.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 7+ years of IT Infrastructure experience with architecture responsibilities.
• Strong background in Azure and Windows-based enterprise environments.
• Experience designing and implementing hybrid infrastructure solutions.
