About this role
CareerUS Solutions is seeking a talented Data Engineer to join their team. The ideal candidate will help build, optimize, and maintain scalable data pipelines and infrastructure to support analytics and business intelligence initiatives.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT data pipelines
- Build and optimize data architectures, databases, and data warehouses
- Integrate data from multiple sources and ensure data quality, consistency, and reliability
- Collaborate with data analysts, data scientists, and business stakeholders to understand data requirements
- Monitor and troubleshoot data workflows and pipeline performance
- Implement data governance, security, and compliance best practices
- Develop and maintain technical documentation for data systems and processes
- Support real-time and batch data processing solutions
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar role
- Strong proficiency in SQL and Python
- Experience with ETL/ELT tools and data integration frameworks
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform
- Experience with data warehousing solutions such as Snowflake, Redshift, Big Query, or Synapse
- Knowledge of big data technologies such as Spark, Hadoop, or Kafka
- Experience with version control tools such as Git
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
