Qdoba Restaurant Corporation is seeking a Sr. Manager of National Marketing to lead the development and execution of integrated marketing strategies. This role focuses on driving brand awareness and sales through omni-channel campaigns while collaborating with various cross-functional teams to ensure cohesive brand storytelling and campaign performance.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the strategy, development and execution of national marketing campaigns, including menu launches, promotional windows, platforms, and brand initiatives that drive traffic and revenue
- Develop full-funnel, omni-channel plans across paid media, owned channels, in-restaurant, digital, and third-party platforms to ensure a cohesive guest experience
- Translate business objectives into clear, insight-driven creative briefs for internal teams and agency partners
- Oversee end-to-end campaign execution, ensuring flawless delivery across all channels and touchpoints, and sufficient field communication
- Partner with Director on developing and managing the national marketing calendar, ensuring alignment across marketing channel owners, culinary, operations, media, and digital teams
- Partner with external research partners to develop and execute a comprehensive research roadmap that supports marketing priorities
- Oversee brand tracking initiatives, ensuring consistent measurement of brand awareness, consideration, perception, and competitive positioning; translate findings into actionable marketing strategies
- Work with external partners to collect and distribute industry research and trend reports that inform wider marketing business strategy
- Drive campaign performance against key KPIs including traffic, sales, awareness, ROI, and guest engagement
- Partner with marketing team on test-and-learn agenda to continuously optimize messaging, offers, channels, and targeting strategies
- Partner with analytics and consumer insights teams to evaluate campaign effectiveness and translate learnings into actionable improvements
- Collaborate with media and digital teams to refine channel mix and investment strategies to maximize impact
- Collaborate closely with Culinary, Operations, Digital, IT, and finance teams to align marketing initiatives with broader business goals
- Manage relationships with key supplier and promotional partners (e.g. Coca Cola, Avocados from Mexico) to secure funding & align on national calendar activations that drive mutual business growth
- Oversee multiple concurrent campaigns, ensuring timelines, budgets, and deliverables are met
Requirements:
- Bachelor's in marketing, Business Administration, or related field. A master's or relevant certifications a plus
- 7+ years of experience in marketing, with a strong focus on national campaign strategy, brand marketing, or integrated marketing
- Proven track record of developing and executing high-impact, multi-channel marketing campaigns that drive measurable business results
- Strong understanding of paid media, digital marketing, and customer touchpoints across the funnel
- Experience managing and leading cross-functional teams and external agency partners
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional teams, senior leadership and Franchise partners
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Experience in restaurant or consumer brands preferred
