Zayo Group provides mission-critical bandwidth to influential companies and is seeking an OSP Controls Project Manager to optimize their OSP/ISP operations. The role involves developing project management controls and processes, collaborating with internal teams, and ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement project management controls, processes, and reporting methodologies to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of OSP operations and mitigate risk for the business
- Work closely with OSP teams to identify areas for process improvement, standardization, and automation
- Establish key performance indicators (and/or strengthen details and definitions of existing KPI) and metrics to monitor project performance and operational health
- Develop and implement comprehensive reporting tools to provide visibility into project health and status, risks, and achievements
- Through process and tool improvement, facilitate communication and collaboration among operations teams, stakeholders, and external partners to align efforts and achieve project objectives
- Lead the change management process to ensure smooth adoption of new controls and processes within the organization
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Project Management, or related field, preferred or equivalent work experience, required
- Minimum of five (5) years of equivalent work experience, required
- Proven experience in project management, specifically in technology companies and/or telecommunications networks
- Strong understanding of project management and process design principles, construction practices, and telecommunications networks
- Proficiency in project management software and tools
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities to effectively collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders
- Strong knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, etc.) and Google Suite products
- Travel as required (Less than 10% estimated) for critical meetings
- Approved to work in the United States
- Experience with project management software such as Sitetracker is a plus, but not required
- Familiarity with Salesforce is a plus, but not required
