About this role
Drevol LLC is seeking a Data Engineer/Analyst for a 12-month contract position. The role involves working with data engineering and analysis, particularly in the healthcare sector, focusing on medical and pharmacy claims.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent work experience
- 8+ years of experience in data engineering or a related role
- 8+ years of data analysis. Preferably in the Healthcare industry of enrollment, medical claims and/or pharmacy claims
- 8+ years hands-on work in SQL and/or PL/SQL
- Expertise in Microsoft Office Suite applications PowerPoint, Word, Excel and Outlook
- Experience with project management tools like JIRA
- Strong analytical skills
- Excellent verbal, listening and written communication skills
- Familiarity designing, implementing, and optimizing data models in NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, Cassandra, neo4j) to support high‑volume, low‑latency workloads
- Working knowledge of big data/cloud technologies (Databricks, AWS, Azure, Hadoop, Spark, Snowflake etc.) is preferred
- Flexible work schedule
- Strong understanding of agile development practices, preferably SAFe
