What you'll do as a Sr. Sourcing Analyst:
Coordinate & oversee establishment & maintenance of contractual agreements for the sustained procurement of supplies, materials, equipment &/or services required for the Ohio Department of Public Safety (ODPS).
Work with requestor &/or subject matter experts to establish specifications where products or services have multiple complex attributes &/or deliverables & for new & developing requirements (e.g., establish acceptance & payment expectations & schedules for contracts with multiple deliverables &/or phases; resolve cost overrun issues).
Coordinate the development & implementation of changes & enhancements to existing scopes of work (e.g., research, analyze & make recommendations regarding requisitions, purchase orders, contracts & amendments; evaluate & make recommendations regarding proposed exceptions & improvements over what was requested; recommend policies, procedures & improvements for sourcing practices; coordinate potential sources for good & services).
Perform &/or participate in contract negotiations with requestor, supplier &/or Legal Services as needed.
Confer with vendors, manufacturers & distributors on daily basis regarding available/needed services, delivery, prices &/or quantity.

Option 1:
30 mos. exp. or 30 mos. trg. in purchasing/procurement/sourcing.
Option 2:
-Or completion of undergraduate core program in public or business administration, purchasing, materials management, contracting, acquisition management or logistics, supply chain management, operations management or other sourcing related field; 6 mos. exp. or 6 mos. trg. in purchasing/procurement/sourcing.
Option 3:
-Or 12 mos. exp. as Sourcing Analyst, 64512.
Option 4:
-Or equivalent of Minimum Class Qualifications for Employment noted above.
