Senior Electrical Engineering Designer

Core States Group designs, builds, and manages programs and projects across North America. As a Senior Electrical Engineering Designer, you will be responsible for designing and drafting electrical engineering projects, coordinating with various engineering disciplines, and ensuring adherence to client and code requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with design tasks and reports under the direction of senior staff
• Conduct site feasibility research and site visit investigations as well as generate reports/recommendations based on findings
• Assist in maintaining task budgets
• Coordinate and assist with addendums, RFI's and change orders
• Assist in coordinating the work of a multi-disciplined team throughout the design development and contract document phases of a project
• Assist senior staff with the project approval process
• Other related responsibilities as necessary to fulfill the objectives of this role

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering
• 4+ years of experience with electrical design for buildings, experience with commercial projects such as big box retail and grocery is highly preferred
• Revit, MS Office required
• EIT preferred
• AutoCAD is a plus
• Arc Flash/Short Circuit experience is a plus
