Curana Health is a national leader in value-based care focused on improving health outcomes for older adults. As a Business Intelligence Analyst, you will develop reporting and analytical solutions that enhance operational efficiency and support decision-making across the organization.
Responsibilities:
- Own and enhance foundational data within SQL Server, ensuring data quality, integrity, scalability, and alignment with business needs
- Partner with Project Managers, Department Directors, and business leaders to gather requirements, align solutions, and drive consistency and standardization across the platform
- Identify and analyze project and technical risks & impacts; define alternatives & prioritizations to remove roadblocks
- Assist with product assessments including fit/gap analysis, building PoCs and providing recommendations on data architecture/tool, etc
- Drive system and tool optimization activities by reviewing current processes and implementing change when necessary
- Build and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards and reports that provide actionable insights and support informed decision-making
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- BS/BA in a quantitative, technical, or analytically focused field such as: Analytics/Business Analytics, Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science/Software Engineering, Information Systems/MIS/IT, Informatics, Business Intelligence
- Approximately 4–6 years of experience in business intelligence, analytics, reporting, data visualization, or a related field
- Strong proficiency in SQL, including experience querying, analyzing, and transforming data to support reporting and business decision-making
- Experience developing and maintaining dashboards and data visualizations using Power BI (preferred) or Tableau
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Experience gathering business requirements, partnering with stakeholders, and translating business needs into reporting and analytics solutions
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to interpret complex data, identify trends and opportunities, and deliver actionable insights to business stakeholders
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across departments and influence decision-making
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, drive process improvements, and support organizational change initiatives
- Experience working with healthcare data, including claims, eligibility, provider, clinical, quality, or revenue cycle data
- Familiarity with healthcare technology environments and data privacy requirements, including HIPAA
