
Role Summary
The ServiceNow Developer is responsible for designing, developing, configuring, and supporting ServiceNow platform capabilities with a strong focus on Azure cloud integrations. This role delivers scalable, secure, and automation-driven solutions across ITSM, Service Catalog, custom applications, and cloud monitoring by integrating ServiceNow with Microsoft Azure services.
Key Responsibilities - ServiceNow Development
Design, develop, configure, and customize ServiceNow applications including ITSM, Service Catalog, workflows, Flow Designer, business rules, client scripts, UI policies, and notifications
Build and maintain custom scoped applications using the ServiceNow App Engine
Develop and enhance Service Catalog items, request workflows, approvals, and fulfillment processes
Perform unit testing, support UAT, and assist with production deployments
Troubleshoot and resolve defects, performance issues, and configuration gaps
Ensure adherence to ServiceNow best practices, coding standards, security, and governance
Maintain technical documentation for configurations, integrations, and customizations
Support platform upgrades, patching, and release impact analysis
Key Responsibilities - Azure Integration
Design, develop, and support integrations between ServiceNow and Microsoft Azure using REST APIs, Webhooks, and IntegrationHub.
Integrate Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Azure Alerts with ServiceNow ITOM / Event Management
Configure MID Server-based secure connectivity where required
Integrate Azure Active Directory (Entra ID) for user, group, and role-based access workflows
Develop automation workflows for Azure resource lifecycle management (intake, provisioning, change, decommission)
Support cloud governance workflows across Azure subscriptions, resource groups, RBAC, and policies
Troubleshoot Azure integration failures and ensure secure authentication and authorization
