JOB SUMMARY: The AVP, Public Sector Growth and Strategy supports Claritev's expansion across federal, state, and local public sector health markets. This role focuses on strategic capture, solution shaping, client engagement, and partnership development. The AVP will identify and pursue new business opportunities, contribute to go-to-market planning, and help build delivery partnerships that align with Claritev's mission to improve healthcare outcomes through technology. Leveraging experience in healthcare analytics and compliance, the AVP will play a key role in advancing Claritev's public sector footprint while supporting innovation and growth across commercial and product teams.
JOB ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Support strategic capture efforts across federal agencies (VA, CMS, DoD, HHS) and state/local health departments.
2. Contribute to growth strategies for Claritev's public sector offerings, including analytics, payment integrity, compliance automation, and operational enablement.
3. Maintain and qualify a pipeline of opportunities, supporting stage-gated reviews and pursuit decisions.
4. Coordinate proposal development, pricing inputs, and SME engagement for priority bids.
5. Assist in establishing teaming agreements and OCI mitigation strategies to enhance competitive positioning.
6. Support development and expansion of delivery partnerships across healthcare and adjacent sectors.
7. Contribute to strategic planning for partnerships in healthcare technology services across public and commercial sectors.
8. Assist in negotiating and managing partnership agreements to support revenue and market growth.
9. Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders in government and industry.
10. Collaborate across internal teams to align delivery capabilities with market needs.
11. Represent Claritev in select client engagements, industry events, and strategic initiatives.
12. Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and requirements.
13. Demonstrate Company's Core Competencies and values held within.

The Associate Vice President of Public Sector Growth and Strategy plays a key role in advancing Claritev's expansion across federal, state, and local public sector health markets, reporting to the Vice President of Public Sector Lead. This role drives strategic capture efforts, shapes solution offerings, and fosters client engagement and partnership development to support Claritev's mission of improving healthcare outcomes through technology. With a strong foundation in healthcare analytics, compliance, and market dynamics, the AVP identifies and pursues new business opportunities, contributes to go-to-market planning, and supports the alignment of delivery capabilities with evolving public sector needs. Operating with a high degree of initiative, the AVP collaborates across commercial, product, and delivery teams to promote innovation, accelerate growth, and strengthen Claritev's public sector footprint.
Qualifications
JOB REQUIREMENTS (Education, Experience, and Training):
* 5-6+ years of experience in healthcare technology, government contracting, or business development, with exposure to public sector health markets.
* Familiarity with federal health technology capture and proposal processes; experience with state/local markets a plus.
* Understanding of healthcare data standards, regulatory frameworks, and public health operations.
* Experience supporting teaming agreements and strategic partnerships.
* Strong communication, collaboration, and strategic thinking skills.

COMPENSATION
The salary range for this position is $180-200K. Specific offers take into account a candidate’s education, experience and skills, as well as the candidate’s work location and internal equity. This position is also eligible for health insurance, 401k and bonus opportunity.
