AvidXchange, Inc. is a leading provider of accounts payable automation software and payment solutions for middle-market businesses. The Senior Product Marketing Manager will drive the growth and success of the product portfolio by developing and executing marketing strategies that position products effectively in the market and generate demand.
Responsibilities:
- Own the ICP (Ideal Customer Profile): Use a data-driven approach to target marketing and sales efforts toward the right market segment
- Go-to-Market Strategy: Lead development of go-to-market plans for new product launches and updates, including messaging, positioning, and demand generation activities
- Market Research: Conduct research to identify customer needs, market trends, and competitive insights that inform product and marketing strategies
- Content Creation: Produce compelling and informative content such as product collateral, presentations, webinars, social media posts, and blog posts to support campaigns and sales efforts
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with internal teams, including Product, Sales, and Marketing, to ensure alignment on messaging, positioning, and goals
- Sales Enablement: Provide sales teams with enablement assets such as plays, deal wins, training decks, FAQs, and videos to drive revenue outcomes
- Drive Production and Aggregation: Produce high-fidelity materials (marketing collateral, thought leadership, presentations, product demos, solution guides) for mid- and low-funnel deals
- Leverage Analytics: Monitor pipeline and ACV across sales segments to ensure marketing plans are aligned with sales needs
- Partner with Sales & Advocacy Marketing: Highlight customer success stories across campaigns, content, and events
- Develop Industry Narrative: Collaborate with Product Marketers and Sales to define customer challenges, value propositions, and benefits for target segments
- Stakeholder Management: Build consensus and alignment across Campaigns, Creative, Product Marketing, Product Management, Sales, Pricing Strategy, and Customer Success
Requirements:
- Proven experience in product marketing, ideally in AP Automation and Spend Management domains
- 5+ years of experience in product marketing or product management
- Strong technical acumen and the ability to partner with Product and Engineering teams to translate capabilities into customer- and sales-relevant materials
- Excellent communicator and storyteller who can simplify complex concepts and persuasively articulate points of view
- Analytical thinker with experience using data to inform strategies and validate decisions
- Self-starter capable of analyzing, planning, leading, executing, and measuring complex projects with minimal guidance
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment while meeting tight deadlines
- Team player with strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative mindset, committed to helping others succeed
