Carlisle Construction Materials is a company focused on overseeing and executing initiatives to ensure the success of their product line. The Cover Board Product Manager will manage the entire product lifecycle, from concept to launch, working closely with cross-functional teams to align product goals with market needs.
Responsibilities:
- Execute the overall innovation and new product development effort for the product line
- Conduct VOC and field evaluation research to generate concepts for innovation
- Create multi-generational product plans and validate concepts for development through VOC efforts
- Executes efforts to develop new products in this category
- Work closely with various departments, including R&D, operations, supply chain, sales, and customer support. Act as a bridge between these teams to ensure everyone is aligned with the product goals
- Drive consensus and prioritization process to provide sustained long-term growth for the product line
- Maintains knowledge on emerging products and services
- Ensure product line resources and information is current and accurate
- Forecasts, drafts, implements, and oversees the product line’s operating budget
- Designates and oversees code requirements and certifications
- Manage sustainability focused initiatives and required certifications
- Manage and develop the Product Specialist for the product line
- Support efforts from international divisions to grow the product line
- Participate in industry associations for the product line, including holding positions of influence on the Board or in committees

- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field required
- At least five years of experience in marketing/product marketing and long-range planning required
- A master's degree is preferred
- PDMA certification is preferred for new product development managers
- Building material industry and channel experience preferred
