As a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer III on the Hybrid Cloud Infrastructure team, you will be responsible for…
Designing, implementing, and supporting hybrid cloud infrastructure solutions across cloud and on-premises environments
Engineering infrastructure components for compute, storage, networking, identity, and system management in support of client requirements
Automating provisioning, configuration, and deployment activities using infrastructure as code and scripting tools
Monitoring system performance, troubleshooting infrastructure issues, and implementing corrective actions to improve stability and availability
Collaborating with technical teams and client stakeholders to support cloud migration, modernization, and operational improvement initiatives

Qualifications
Required:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field
5+ years of experience engineering, implementing, and supporting cloud or hybrid cloud infrastructure
Experience with at least one cloud platform, including Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform
Experience with infrastructure as code tools, including Terraform or Amazon Web Services CloudFormation
Experience administering Windows Server, Linux, virtualization platforms, and enterprise network infrastructure
Active Secret security clearance and ability to work onsite in Yokosuka, Japan 100% of the time
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.
Preferred:
Professional certification in Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform, VMware, Cisco, or a similar technology area
Experience supporting federal, state, or local government environments
Experience with container platforms, including Kubernetes or Docker
Experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment tools and processes
Experience supporting environments subject to National Institute of Standards and Technology or Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program requirements
Experience with artificial intelligence infrastructure, edge computing, or network modernization initiatives
For individuals assigned and/or hired to work in Virginia, Deloitte is required by law to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. This compensation range is specific to Virginia and takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $131,000 to $218,300.
You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
