We’re
looking for a Sr. Mechanical Process Engineer to support complex
process system design and optimization within advanced manufacturing
environments. This role focuses on developing robust chemical and
mechanical process solutions, modeling piping and hydronic systems, and
supporting large-scale facility infrastructure projects. You’ll work
closely with engineering, construction, and operations teams to deliver
high-performance systems that support high-tech manufacturing
applications.
Key Responsibilities
-
Lead
the design, analysis, and optimization of chemical process systems,
hydronic loops, and specialty process piping for large industrial
facilities.
-
Develop and maintain P&IDs, process flow diagrams, equipment specifications, and system-level documentation.
-
Support layout development in Revit, coordinating with structural, mechanical, electrical, and architectural disciplines.
-
Provide technical guidance during installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, and process validation activities.
Qualifications
-
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related discipline (BSME/BSCE preferred).
-
7+ years of experience in process engineering, piping system design, or hydronic system development.
-
Strong background in chemical process principles, fluid dynamics, and mechanical systems.
-
Proficiency with PIPEFLO, AutoPIPE, and load/energy modeling platforms such as Trane Trace.
-
Skilled in P&ID development, process documentation, and engineering calculations.
-
Revit experience required for integrated facility design.
-
High-tech manufacturing experience strongly preferred—data center or semiconductor facility experience is a major plus.
-
Strong understanding of tooling, process equipment, and system integration best practices.
