Overview
We are seeking a Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) to lead surveying activities
for residential and commercial land development projects. This role involves
managing field and office survey operations, preparing survey deliverables, and
supporting engineering and development teams from project kickoff through
construction.
Responsibilities

Perform and oversee boundary,
topographic, ALTA/NSPS, construction, and as-built surveys for residential
and commercial projects.

Conduct field data collection using GPS,
robotic total stations, and other surveying equipment.

Prepare plats, legal descriptions,
easements, boundary exhibits, and survey deliverables.

Process field data and develop survey
drawings using AutoCAD Civil 3D or related survey software.

Coordinate with engineers, developers,
contractors, and municipalities throughout project execution.

Review survey data for accuracy and
ensure compliance with state and local surveying standards.
Qualifications

Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) license
required.

Experience performing residential and
commercial land surveying projects.

Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D and
standard survey data processing software.

Experience with ALTA/NSPS Land Title
Surveys, boundary, topographic, construction staking, and as-built
surveys.

Strong knowledge of survey calculations,
legal descriptions, plats, and land records.

Excellent communication and project
coordination skills.
