Licensed Practical Nurse - Part-Time Days

UVA Imaging is seeking a highly motivated, enthusiastic, compassionate individual who is a strong communicator to join an energetic, patient-focused team! Are you passionate about patient care? Do you love interacting with people? Come and join our team as an LPN for a Part-time position, at our outpatient imaging center located in Zion Crossroads, VA.

This position is scheduled for Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 7:00 AM–5:00 PM, and every other Saturday from 8:00 AM–6:00 PM.

Position Status: Part-Time

Schedule: Tuesday & Wednesday: 7 AM - 5 PM; Every other Saturday: 8 A - 6 P

Location: Zion Crossroads, VA

The LPN is responsible for preparing patients for imaging procedures, including conducting safety screenings, obtaining and reviewing patient histories as needed, and establishing IV access. The ideal candidate will have strong patient care skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced imaging environment.

Requirements

EXPERIENCE:

• Minimum 1 year as a LPN in a clinical setting

EDUCATION:

• Must be a graduate of an approved LPN program.

LICENSE/CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

• Must meet the state licensure requirement for the state in which they practice. BLS certification required within 60 days of hire.

SKILLS/ABILITIES:

• Ability to work independently and multitask under the direction of a RN or licensed independent practitioner.
• Ability to manage medical emergencies and/or contrast reactions under the direction of a licensed independent practitioner.
• Ability to provide documentation accurately and concisely.

COMPUTER LITERACY

• Knowledge of computer applications, including information and billing systems, keyboard input, digital archiving, and retrieving of data.

ENVIRONMENTAL

When performing essential functions, the employee is subject to exposure to:
