Responsibilities

Manage the
cost control cycle throughout the project execution, by setting up projects/mandates,
tracking budgets and schedules, within the project management system;

Calculate
the initial budget on the basis of the proposal;

Ensure
tracking of hours, expenses, costs and budget updates;
-
Monitor
changes and coordination with the project team;
-
Evaluate
change requests, evaluate their impact on project objectives and communicate
changes to stakeholders;
-
Ensure and
manage the project progress monitoring with discipline managers, including cost
and schedule controls;
-
Ensure
follow-up with project managers on regular updates of project forecasts,
including periodic assistance in the estimation of remaining project costs, as
well as necessary provisions and risks;

Records
and resolves issues relating to project budgets and schedules;
-
Ensure the
quality of prepared project status reports, executive summaries, and dashboards
to provide timely updates on performance.
Requirements
-
Administration,
finance, or engineering degree;
-
Minimum of
5 years of experience in a similar position;

Bilingual
(an asset), but proficiency in English language with excellent communication
skills (written and verbal) is required;

Strong
personal IT skills (MS Office suite) and relevant software skills specific to
project controls.
