UI/UX Software Engineer - Figma Specialist

Lockheed Martin is a leading aerospace and defense company, and they are seeking a UI/UX Software Engineer - Figma Specialist to join their CommandIQ® team. In this role, you will design and develop mission-critical software features while collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet customer needs.

Responsibilities:

• Decompose higher-level roadmap features into actionable work items
• Design, Implement, and integrate/test software features
• Perform peer reviews for fellow software engineers and debug issues as they arise
• Participate in technical discussions to define/solve overarching software architecture needs
• Collaborate with cross-functional peers to better understand project requirements and customer/stakeholder needs

Requirements:

• Specific experience using Figma as a UI/UX Design Tool
• Frontend framework development experience using Angular, javascript, CSS, and HTML
• Experience/Familiarity with the following: Docker, REST APIs
• Experience across the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
• 3+ years of relevant work experience (Advanced Degree may be substituted for 2 years of experience)
• Experience in Agile Methodologies & Tools
• Experience in UI/UX Test Frameworks (Cypress, Selenium, Playwright, Jest)
• Experience in a Full-Stack engineering role
• Experience/Exposure to any of the following: Gitlab CI/CD, Helm, Kubernetes, gRPC, Python, Flask
• Exposure to other UI/UX Design Tools (MockFlow, UXPin, Axure)
• Previous IRAD experience
• Active Secret Clearance
