Network Engineer / Cloud Network Engineer
📍 Location: Palo Alto, CA
📅 Duration: 10–12 Month Contract

Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and support Terraform-based Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions for cloud networking components across multiple cloud platforms.
- Automate network-related operational tasks using Python scripting, including integrations with IPAM, DNS, and firewall management systems.
- Implement and maintain connectivity solutions spanning AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform, and OCI, leveraging cloud-native networking services and secure interconnect technologies.
- Support and troubleshoot CI/CD workflows (GitHub Actions or similar) to ensure smooth infrastructure deployments and code integrations.
- Handle daily cloud networking requests such as VPC/VNet updates, routing changes, and security policy modifications while adhering to Infrastructure-as-Code standards.
Desired Background
- 6+ years of experience in Cloud Networking, Network Automation, or Network DevOps.
- Practical experience working with one or more major cloud providers:
- AWS: VPC, Transit Gateway, Security Groups, Route 53
- Azure: VNet, NSG, Virtual WAN
- Google Cloud Platform / OCI: Shared VPC, VCN, DRG, and related networking services
Technical Skills
- Strong proficiency in Terraform, including state management and multi-cloud deployments.
- Advanced Python scripting skills with experience consuming APIs (boto3, requests, etc.).
- Daily usage of Git/GitHub, including pull requests, branching strategies, and conflict resolution.
- Solid networking fundamentals with knowledge of BGP, routing protocols, firewall policies, and network segmentation.
- Experience with Palo Alto Networks security platforms is highly preferred.
