Program Manager II

Title: Program Manager II
Location: Tewksbury, MA (01876)
Schedule: ONE DAY HOME HYBRID, 4 IN OFFICE ( 7-5 9x80, 1 day remote)
OT: 9x80 schedule, 44hrs one week, 36 the next.
Security clearance: Public Trust ( can start without)
duration: 6 months FTE possible

Must have skills:
3 years project management, multi-faceted projects end to end.
MS Project.

Nice to have:
Product development/software/engineering projects.

Responsibilities:
Solid understanding of project management skills, including scope, time and cost management
Develop a comprehensive WBS and project schedule with help of the core team
Lead and influence the engineering team, as well as the cross-functional team to achieve program objectives.
Lead the team through the New Product Introduction lifecycle phases including requirements, concept development, design reviews, V&V and release to production.
Lead team and technical meetings, program reviews and gate reviews.
Work with cross-functional team to address program issues and identify and manage program risks
Communicate regularly and clearly to internal and external program stakeholders
Strong risk and stakeholder management experience with proactive and problem-solving skills
Having fortitude to handle multiple projects.
Experience with PowerPoint presentation to provide projects progress status and risks.

Education/ required:
BS/BA in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or similar and 10+ years of experience.
Previous 5+ years experience as a program manager in hardware and software product development
Effective communication, strategic thinking, leadership and strong organizational skills.
Broad Engineering background sufficient to analyze design data related to electrical, software, mechanical, and physical science disciplines.
Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills are required for effective interface with all internal and external contacts.
