
Role Descriptions:
A hybrid role combining data analytics with lightweight engineering/tool development. The QBA will design and build internal operational tools (e.g., the WFO Support Portal), create dynamic dashboards, and own the analytics layer for SDS WFO operations. This is not a pure Tableau role tool-building and process automation are equally important.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, build, and maintain internal operational tools (e.g., WFO Support Portal a unified ticket intake and routing system)
Develop dynamic dashboards and reporting pipelines to track scheduling, provisioning, and SLA metrics
Translate operational requirements from WFO stakeholders into scalable technical solutions
Automate repetitive reporting workflows to reduce manual effort
Prototype new tools rapidly; iterate based on stakeholder feedback
Ensure portal logic correctly routes tickets and prompts users for required information at intake
Required Skills & Technologies:
Category Tools / Skills
Data Visualization Tableau (intermediate-advanced), potentially Power BI
Web / Tool Development Python, JavaScript / React (lightweight front-end), or low-code platforms (Retool, AppSmith)
Backend / Scripting Python (Pandas, automation scripts), REST APIs
Database / Querying SQL (intermediate-advanced), familiarity with data warehouse querying
Workflow Automation Familiarity with tools like Airflow, n8n, or scripted automations
Collaboration Confluence, Git/version control basics, Webex
Preferred Qualifications:
3+ years in a business analyst, data analyst, or analytics engineering role
Demonstrated experience building internal tools, not just reporting dashboards
Ability to work independently and own a project from requirements through delivery
Experience in operations analytics (workforce, support, or contact center domains a plus)
