Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced VMware Administrator to manage and optimize a large-scale VMware environment while leading a strategic migration to Microsoft Azure. This is a hands-on infrastructure role requiring expertise in VMware administration, Azure cloud technologies, and enterprise migration projects.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of VMware vSphere Administration
• Experience managing 300+ VMs in enterprise environments
• VMware vCenter, ESXi, vSAN, DRS, HA, vSphere Replication
• VMware patching, upgrades, firmware updates, and security hardening
• Backup & Disaster Recovery (Veeam, SRM, or similar)
• SAN/NAS Storage Administration
• Enterprise Networking (VLANs, Routing, Distributed Switches)

Azure & Migration Experience

• 2+ years of Microsoft Azure Administration
• Azure Migrate / Azure Site Recovery (ASR)
• Azure Virtual Machines & Azure Networking
• ExpressRoute / VPN Connectivity
• Azure Virtual Networks (VNets)
• Network Security Groups (NSGs)
• Azure RBAC & Azure Policy
• Azure Cost Management & Governance

Automation Skills

• Terraform
• Azure Bicep / ARM Templates
• PowerShell
• Azure CLI

Preferred Certifications

• VMware Certified Professional (VCP-DCV)
• Microsoft Azure Administrator (AZ-104)
• Azure Solutions Architect Expert (AZ-305)

Key Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain a VMware environment with approximately 500 servers
• Monitor infrastructure performance, capacity planning, and troubleshooting
• Perform upgrades, patching, backup, and disaster recovery
• Lead VMware-to-Azure migration initiatives
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
• Collaborate with networking and cloud engineering teams
• Ensure cloud governance, security, and cost optimization
