Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced SAP HCM Functional Business Analyst to support and enhance our global Human Capital Management (HCM) ecosystem. This role combines deep SAP HCM functional expertise with strong business analysis skills to deliver scalable HR solutions across a complex enterprise environment.
The successful candidate will partner with HR, IT, and business stakeholders to support SAP ECC HCM, SuccessFactors, UKG, ADP, Active Directory, Benefits, and other integrated HR platforms while ensuring operational excellence, system stability, and continuous process improvement.
Key Responsibilities
SAP HCM Functional Configuration
- Configure and support SAP HCM modules including:
- Personnel Administration (PA)
- Organizational Management (OM)
- Time Management
- Payroll
- Benefits
- Manage employee lifecycle processes using transactions such as PA30, PA40, PPOME, and PO13.
- Configure Infotypes, Personnel Actions, Dynamic Actions, and organizational structures.
- Maintain system configuration using SPRO and SM30.
- Perform data migration and maintenance using LSMW, SE16/SE16N, and related SAP tools.
- Analyze ABAP code, user exits, and enhancements for troubleshooting and root cause analysis.
- Develop and execute Ad Hoc reports and queries to support business operations.
HR Integrations & Interface Management
- Support integrations between SAP HCM and enterprise HR systems including:
- SuccessFactors
- UKG
- ADP
- Active Directory
- Benefits platforms
- Monitor and troubleshoot IDocs, middleware, and interface failures.
- Utilize tools such as:
- Collaborate with technical teams to resolve integration issues and improve data accuracy.
SAP Fiori ESS/MSS
- Support and enhance SAP Fiori Employee Self-Service (ESS) and Manager Self-Service (MSS).
- Improve user experience through configuration and functional enhancements.
- Collaborate with development teams on custom and standard SAP solutions.
- Promote employee-centric digital HR experiences.
Business Analysis
- Gather, analyze, and document business requirements.
- Conduct stakeholder workshops and requirement sessions.
- Prepare:

- Technical Design Documents
- Business Process Flows
- Gap Analysis
- Translate business requirements into scalable SAP solutions.
- Partner with ABAP and integration teams during solution delivery.
Production Support
- Provide production support for enterprise SAP HCM environments.
- Troubleshoot issues using:
- Support payroll processing, time management, batch jobs, and HR operations.
- Perform root cause analysis and recommend long-term solutions.
- Continuously improve system stability and operational efficiency.
Required Qualifications
Experience
- 5+ years of SAP HCM Functional or SAP HCM Business Analyst experience.
- Strong expertise in Personnel Administration (PA) and Organizational Management (OM).
- Experience supporting enterprise HR systems within large global organizations.
