Job Summary
We are seeking a Quality Assurance Analyst to support a multi-year Unemployment Insurance Modernization project. The selected candidate will work closely with the QA Manager to ensure software quality through planning, execution, documentation, and continuous improvement of quality assurance processes.
Primary Responsibilities
- Design repeatable test plans, test scenarios, and test scripts that meet project standards.
- Create, maintain, and update QA documentation and artifacts.
- Execute functional, integration, user acceptance (UAT), and regression testing.
- Document software defects, track issues, and validate fixes after resolution.
- Participate in product design reviews and provide feedback on functional requirements, schedules, risks, and issues.
- Evaluate and recommend QA testing tools and methodologies appropriate for the project.
- Manage QA-related activities and issues within assigned project components.
- Ensure adherence to established QA standards, processes, and guidelines.
- Assist in developing QA test plans and comprehensive test cases.
- Create and maintain test data, test scripts, and testing documentation.
- Review test scripts to ensure completeness, accuracy, and quality.
Required Qualifications
- Experience performing quality assurance for Unemployment Insurance system implementation or modernization projects.
- Experience supporting quality assurance efforts on large-scale projects involving multiple stakeholder groups and budgets exceeding $10 million.
- Minimum 3 years of experience supporting quality assurance for information technology projects with budgets of at least $3 million.
- Minimum 2 years of experience working in Agile or Hybrid Agile environments.
- Minimum 2 years of experience managing the full quality assurance lifecycle from project initiation through implementation.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
- Demonstrated ability to develop, document, and improve QA processes in a clear and organized manner.
