About this role
CareerUS Solutions is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Business Analyst to join their team. In this role, you will collaborate with business stakeholders and technical teams to analyze business processes and deliver data-driven solutions that enhance operational efficiency and business performance.
Responsibilities:
- Gather, analyze, and document business requirements from stakeholders
- Translate business needs into detailed functional and technical requirements
- Conduct business process analysis and recommend process improvements
- Create Business Requirement Documents (BRDs), Functional Requirement Documents (FRDs), user stories, process flows, and use cases
- Collaborate with Product Managers, Project Managers, Developers, QA teams, and business stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle
- Perform gap analysis, root cause analysis, and impact assessments
- Facilitate stakeholder meetings, requirement workshops, and project discussions
- Support Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog grooming, and sprint reviews
- Validate business requirements through testing, UAT coordination, and solution verification
- Analyze data to identify trends, business opportunities, and operational improvements
- Ensure delivered solutions align with business goals and customer expectations
- Prepare reports, dashboards, and presentations for leadership and stakeholders
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, Finance, or a related field
- Minimum 4 years of professional Business Analyst experience
- Strong experience gathering, documenting, and managing business requirements
- Experience working on software development or digital transformation projects
- Solid understanding of Agile, Scrum, and SDLC methodologies
- Experience creating BRDs, FRDs, user stories, workflows, wireframes, and process documentation
- Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management abilities
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Experience working with cross-functional and distributed teams
- Minimum 4 years of Business Analyst experience
- Must be a U.S. Citizen or Green Card Holder
- Must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future visa sponsorship
- Must be available to work full-time remotely within the United States
- Experience with SaaS products or enterprise applications
- Knowledge of SQL and relational databases
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker
- Familiarity with APIs, cloud platforms, and system integrations
- Experience using Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, or similar project management tools
- Certifications such as CBAP, CCBA, PMI-PBA, or Agile certifications are highly preferred
