Forensic Accountant / Financial Analytics Lead

Univedge Consulting LLC is seeking a highly analytical and forward-looking Forensic Accountant / Financial Analytics Lead to support financial forecasting and predictive planning. This role combines forensic financial analysis with data science techniques to uncover trends and provide insights for better decision-making across projects.

Responsibilities:

• Perform forensic analysis of financial data to identify anomalies, cost drivers, and risks
• Develop and maintain forecasting models for revenue, cost, and margin performance
• Provide forward-looking insight to anticipate financial impact of decisions
• Design and improve cost allocation methodologies across programs and regions
• Partner with Finance, PMO, and Operations teams to validate financial data
• Build dashboards and visualizations (e.g., Power BI) to communicate insights
• Integrate data from multiple systems for comprehensive analysis
• Collaborate cross-functionally to support financial and strategic decisions

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field
• 7+ years experience in financial analysis, forensic accounting, or planning
• Strong experience with forecasting, modeling, and cost analysis
• Advanced Excel skills
• Experience working with large datasets
• Experience in forensic accounting or financial investigations
• Background in data science or applied statistics
• Proficiency with Python, R, SQL, or Power BI
• Experience in telecom or technology services industries
• Familiarity with project financial systems (Salesforce, Kantata, etc.)
