Smart Communications is a leading technology company focused on helping businesses engage in more meaningful customer conversations. We are seeking a top-caliber HR Business Partner to cover the NAM region on a 6-month FTC, supporting our global HR strategy in a rapidly growing business of ~450 employees.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver a best-in-class, proactive HR service to the business, including:
- Partnering with leadership: Advise and coach local managers on all HR matters, including talent acquisition, talent management, and employee development. Provide ongoing support to both employees and managers
- Strengthening HR infrastructure:
- Contribute to and influence HR strategy by gathering input and securing buy-in from key business stakeholders
- Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and implement process enhancements
- Employee Relations: Provide guidance and coaching to managers on employee relations matters, including conflict resolution and performance management
- Driving change initiatives: Act as a change agent, championing communication and employee engagement. Support and lead change initiatives, including managing all people-related aspects of business transformation projects
- Leading HR programs: Support and drive the rollout of annual HR initiatives across the business alongside regional leadership teams (e.g., compensation reviews, performance management, talent development, high-potential programs, and training needs analysis)
- Ensuring compliance: Maintain HR compliance with all applicable local employment laws and regulations with your key expertise being in NAM
- Managing strategic projects: Lead and contribute to key HR projects, including global payroll implementation, company-wide Respect in the Workplace training, and compensation/benefits benchmarking
- Benefits management: Support annual benefits renewals, including preparation analysis and recommendation to the executive team
- Employee engagement: Lead and facilitate forums and initiatives that promote engagement and open communication between employees, managers, and leadership
Requirements:
- Demonstrated experience delivering across a broad range of HR functions, including talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, reward, communications, and transformation initiatives
- Demonstrated project management skills, able to manage multiple priorities successfully
- Demonstrates strong aptitude for new and emerging technologies
- Proven track record of working with, and coaching managers
- Solid experience of supporting a transformational business
- Influencing, Communication, presentation and networking skills
- Skilled in navigating sensitive situations and providing balanced, diplomatic guidance
- High levels of energy and initiative
- Bundles of motivation with a fun personality who can influence team-spirit and enthusiasm to get the job done
- A track record of international HR is very beneficial
- Experience with benefit renewal and employee relations
- Experience in a high growth technology/SaaS business is highly desired
