Seeking an Associate Operations Systems Engineer to support the Energy Management System (EMS) platform and Grid Control Center technologies. The role involves system administration, troubleshooting, project support, and engineering analysis to ensure reliable transmission grid operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform Linux system administration and troubleshooting.
- Support EMS projects, system testing, and documentation activities.
- Identify and address gaps in EMS processes and system performance.
- Collaborate with IT, Automation, and project teams to support critical initiatives.
- Participate in EMS infrastructure planning and integration activities.
Required Qualifications:
- 0-3 years of experience in Systems Engineering.
- Working knowledge of Linux, Kubernetes, AWS, and cloud technologies.
- Experience with scripting on operating systems.
- Understanding of project timelines and task management.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Computer, or Control Systems Engineering (or equivalent experience).
- Experience with software testing/integration in real-time systems.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Compensation:
The hourly rate for this position is $42.00 per hour.
