Boise, ID · $110,000-$140,000 Annually
Final compensation is based on experience, skills, and qualifications.
The job site is yours to run.
You own the field. You read the plans, set the pace, lead the trades, and keep the whole site moving safely and on schedule. When a problem hits the ground, you are the one who solves it before it costs a day. You build teams that perform and relationships that hold up under pressure. If that sounds like you, we want to meet you.
At Roundhouse, our mission is simple and serious: putting humanity into housing. Since 2008 we have grown into a developer and manager of diverse real estate across four states, with more than 10,000 multifamily units and over $2B in assets under management. We got here by challenging the status quo, taking the long view, and trusting strong field leaders to deliver.
As Construction Superintendent, you manage the day-to-day execution of multifamily projects in the Boise area, from groundbreaking to final walk. You lead the onsite team of foremen, carpenters, and laborers, and you make sure the work gets done safely, efficiently, and right.
What you'll own
You run field operations and set the standard for the entire site. That means you:
- Oversee all field operations, coordinating labor, materials, and equipment for efficient execution.
- Lead and direct foremen, subcontractors, and onsite personnel to keep teams productive and performing.
- Keep communication tight between field staff, project management, subcontractors, and stakeholders.
- Build, monitor, and maintain master schedules and look-aheads so milestones and deadlines hold.
- Enforce and champion every safety protocol, with full OSHA and regulatory compliance.
- Run regular site visits, safety meetings, inspections, and audits to keep the site safe and compliant.
- Ensure all work meets quality standards, design intent, and building codes, resolving issues fast.
- Manage procurement planning and material logistics for timely delivery, proper storage, and availability.
- Grow and maintain a strong subcontractor and supplier network for better collaboration, pricing, and quality.
- Find and implement creative ways to improve efficiency, lift productivity, and reduce cost without cutting quality.
- Serve as the primary liaison for field operations, delivering timely updates and keeping teams aligned.
- Resolve field challenges, delays, and conflicts through effective, on-the-ground problem-solving.
- Document all field work, inspections, and safety issues accurately and on time, to company and legal standards.
You take ownership of the whole site, and the team takes its cues from you.
