EOI Space is developing and deploying a constellation of satellites in Very Low Earth Orbit (VLEO) to provide ultra-high-resolution Earth imagery. They are seeking a Senior HR Generalist to support day-to-day HR operations and employee support functions, maintaining efficient HR processes across onboarding, employee relations, compliance, benefits administration, and recruiting support.
Responsibilities:
- Own end-to-end onboarding and offboarding, including system access, compliance documentation, and day-one readiness
- Maintain accurate employee records, HRIS data, and documentation across all stages of employment
- Administer offer letters, job changes, promotions, and separations with precision and speed
- Serve as the primary point of contact for employee questions on benefits, policies, leave, and compensation
- Partner with managers on performance management cycles, PIPs, and corrective action, providing coaching on approach and documentation
- Investigate and resolve employee relations issues with sound judgment, fairness, and appropriate confidentiality
- Support calibration processes and help managers write clear, behaviorally grounded feedback
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment law (FLSA, FMLA, ADA, etc.)
- Maintain the employee handbook, HR policies, and employment documentation
- Support annual compliance activities including annual filings, benefits open enrollment, and audits
- Coordinate and support full-cycle recruiting for assigned roles in partnership with hiring managers
- Draft job descriptions, manage job postings, and ensure consistency in offer and compensation practices
- Maintain recruiting pipeline visibility and support headcount planning processes
- Identify friction points in the employee experience and propose systemic fixes, not one-off solutions
- Support manager development through coaching and training initiatives
- Contribute to maintaining HR infrastructure: templates, workflows, SOPs, and playbooks as the organization scales
