Tract Capital Management is a company specializing in digital infrastructure investment. They are seeking a Principal Product Manager to lead the development of advanced mechanical systems for data center infrastructure, ensuring product roadmaps align with strategic objectives and collaborating across multiple teams for successful product launches.
Responsibilities:
- Define product strategy, requirements, and roadmaps for advanced mechanical infrastructure products
- Translate business objectives, customer needs, and infrastructure strategy into prioritized product plans
- Balance performance, cost, manufacturability, reliability, scalability, and deployment requirements
- Lead new product development from concept through validation, NPI, and production
- Drive stage-gate execution, program schedules, budgets, risks, and product launch activities
- Partner with engineering teams to transition prototypes into scalable manufacturing
- Manage relationships with OEMs, contract manufacturers, fabricators, and key suppliers
- Drive supplier performance across quality, cost, delivery, capacity, and production readiness
- Partner with suppliers on manufacturing strategies, value engineering, and design-to-cost initiatives
- Collaborate with Engineering, Construction, Commissioning, Procurement, Operations, Finance, and external partners to deliver successful product launches
- Serve as the primary product owner, aligning stakeholders on priorities, scope, risks, and execution
- Ensure products integrate seamlessly into design, construction, commissioning, and long-term operations
- Support product validation, testing, quality standards, and regulatory compliance
- Drive root cause analysis, corrective actions, and continuous product improvement
- Partner with Supply Chain to manage sourcing strategies, production planning, inventory, and launch readiness
- Communicate product strategy, priorities, risks, and status to technical teams and executive leadership
- Ensure product documentation, installation guides, commissioning procedures, and training materials support successful deployment
