Cloud Security Engineer (GCP - Google Cloud Platform)

York Solutions, LLC is looking for a Cloud Security Engineer specializing in Google Cloud Platform. The role involves developing mitigation plans for cloud security issues, managing cloud secrets, and addressing root causes to prevent future occurrences.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute mitigation plans to address high-priority issues in GCP, Azure or AWS
• Coordinate the rotation of mismanaged cloud secrets which can only be done by the end users (engineering or infrastructure teams)
• While your main goal will be fixing existing cloud resources, you will need to address the root cause to avoid the issues from reoccurring in future deployments

Requirements:

• Must have solid experience working with Google Cloud Platform - GCP
• Overall 14+ Years of Cloud Security Background
• Minimum 4+ years of recent GCP experience
• Infrastructure-as-Code
• Experience with GitHub or Atlantis
• Develop and execute mitigation plans to address high-priority issues in GCP, Azure or AWS
• Coordinate the rotation of mismanaged cloud secrets which can only be done by the end users (engineering or infrastructure teams)
• Address the root cause to avoid the issues from reoccurring in future deployments
