Sygaldry Technologies is building quantum-accelerated AI servers to exponentially speed up training and inference for AI. They are seeking a Senior Quantum Architect to own the architectural vision for integrating multiple complementary qubit modalities into a fault-tolerant quantum computing system.
Responsibilities:
- Define and drive the end-to-end fault-tolerant architecture for novel hardware spanning multiple qubit modalities, from QEC theory down to hardware-level implementation
- Make and defend high-stakes architectural trade-offs across QEC codes and fault-tolerant logic under real device constraints and noise
- Translate cutting-edge error correction theory into hardware-aware protocols validated on physical devices
- Co-design the architecture with target applications in mind, tailoring fault-tolerant resource allocation and logical operations to quantum algorithms for AI and machine learning workloads
- Establish the simulation, modeling, and benchmarking frameworks used to guide system design and de-risk the technical roadmap
- Set technical direction and mentor a multidisciplinary team of experimental and theoretical physicists, engineers, and computer scientists
