COMPONENT AND SYSTEMS HARDWARE / LEAD ENGINEER
Location: Mahwah, New Jersey (Onsite)
Long Term Contract
Responsibilities
Identify list of products from Strategy team
Identify requirements applicable to commodity
Collate test and compliance data from suppliers
Risk assess products for safety, durability and compliance
Evaluate fit and function of the products
Identify key failure modes and critical testing requirements and collate supporting data
Generate Commodity Plans and manage suppliers
Engineering release
Test and Validation
Engineering Sign Off and approval
Skills:
Degree in Engineering or comparable qualification.
Experience in component/system delivery and development of automotive systems
Knowledge of Digi-Buck / Vis-Mock-up / 3D Experience
Good communication and presentation skills to all levels
Knowledge of Automotive safety, homologation and certification In particular NAS market
