Position: QA Automation Analyst
Location: Cincinnati, OH or Atlanta, GA (Hybrid - 3 days onsite) (Local Only)
Duration: 12 months CTH
Overview
QA Analyst to support Agile Scrum teams responsible for delivering high-quality, accessible applications and APIs. This role is heavily focused on test automation (approximately 80%) with additional emphasis on API testing, accessibility compliance, and backend validation.
Not a manual QA.
Must Have:
- Automation QA Engineer
- Accessibility testing experience (MUST)
- API testing skills
- C#/.NET familiarity
- Automated test development & maintenance
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks for web applications, APIs, and backend services
- Perform API testing and validation using Postman and related tools
- Execute accessibility testing and ensure compliance with ADA and WCAG 2.1/2.2 standards (Levels A & AA)
- Develop and execute test cases across UI, API, integration, and database layers
- Write and execute complex SQL queries for data validation and troubleshooting
- Collaborate closely with developers, product owners, and Scrum teams during 2 3 week sprint cycles
- Participate in defect management, root cause analysis, and continuous quality improvement initiatives
Required Qualifications:
- 10+ years of experience with automated testing frameworks for web applications and APIs
- Strong understanding of HTTP/HTTPS protocols, REST/SOAP APIs, and web technologies
- 5+ years of experience with C# and .NET (including LINQ, Generics, and .NET 6)
- 3+ years of experience writing complex T-SQL queries
- 3+ years of QA experience with a strong focus on accessibility testing
- Strong knowledge of ADA compliance and WCAG 2.1/2.2 accessibility standards (Levels A & AA)
- Experience using Postman for API testing and validation
Preferred Experience:
- Experience working within Agile/Scrum environments
- Experience supporting CI/CD pipelines and automated quality practices
- Strong communication skills and ability to work directly with development teams
