Rothe Development Inc is seeking a Project Manager II to provide Project Management and Risk Management support for the Ames Research Center. The role involves managing IT projects, collaborating with project managers, and supporting risk management activities to ensure compliance with NASA's policies and procedures.
Responsibilities:
- Managing and tracking all OCIO IT projects in accordance with NASA policies and procedures (NPR 7120.5 & 7120)
- Collaborate with the Center Project Manager to support project formulation, execution and delivery throughout the project lifecycle
- Develop comprehensive project plans that define the design, development, implementation strategy, and management framework in accordance with NASA IT Program and Project Management requirements
- Support the ARC Risk Manager in preparing and presenting risk details, mitigation options, and recommendations to promote risk awareness at both the Center and Agency levels including risk logging and assessments, financial impact analysis, investment scheduling and mitigation recommendations and risk ranking presentations
Requirements:
- BA/BS or equivalent and 5 years of relevant experience
- Project management experience with mid-to-large complex projects with multiple stakeholders
- Experience with configuration management procedures across a wide variety of disparate assets
- Strong attention to detail, excellent time management skills, and application of critical thinking and problem solving
- Proficiency with at least 2 years' experience in Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, OneNote, One Drive), Microsoft Project Online, SharePoint and Adobe Acrobat
- At least 2 years' experience developing comprehensive project plans in Microsoft Project that define the design, development, implementation strategy, and management framework
- At least 2 years' experience in Risk Management in preparing and presenting risk details, mitigation options, and recommendations to promote risk awareness to stakeholders, including risk logging and assessments, financial impact analysis, investment scheduling, mitigation recommendations and risk ranking presentations
- Familiarity with projects at Ames Research Center or another NASA center
- Specifically, NASA projects and project management
- Knowledge of NASA Procedural Requirements NPR-7120.7 or 7120.5 a plus
