About this role
Data Nexus AI is seeking a Principal DevOps Platform Engineer to join their enterprise Platform Engineering team for a large-scale cloud transformation initiative. The role focuses on building scalable cloud platforms and involves responsibilities such as infrastructure automation, CI/CD pipelines, and collaboration with engineering teams.
Responsibilities:
- Design and build enterprise infrastructure automation using Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
- Develop advanced Bash, Python, and PowerShell automation scripts
- Provision and manage Google Cloud Platform (GCP) environments
- Deploy and manage Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE) clusters
- Build and maintain GitHub Actions CI/CD pipelines
- Create and maintain Customize, Helm, and Kubernetes manifests
- Automate infrastructure validation, monitoring, disaster recovery, and operational tooling
- Develop reusable Terraform modules and GitOps workflows
- Collaborate with cloud architects and platform engineering teams to improve platform reliability and scalability
Requirements:
- 10+ years of Infrastructure / Platform Engineering experience
- Strong expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
- Strong expertise in Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE)
- Strong expertise in Terraform (Module Development)
- Strong expertise in Kubernetes
- Strong expertise in GitHub Actions
- Strong expertise in Bash Scripting
