Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled .NET Developer to design, develop, test, modify, and debug enterprise software applications. The ideal candidate will have experience with Microsoft .NET technologies, SQL, software development practices, and application troubleshooting.
The candidate will translate business requirements into secure, maintainable code, support application configuration activities, analyze system issues, and collaborate with development teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, test, modify, and debug software applications.
- Translate business requirements into technical development activities.
- Develop secure, scalable, and maintainable application code.
- Research, analyze, and resolve application and system-related issues.
- Create and maintain technical documentation for software solutions.
- Support configuration and enhancement activities for the GenTax COTS application.
- Work collaboratively within software development teams.
- Participate in software development lifecycle activities.
- Troubleshoot defects and implement effective solutions.
- Follow coding standards, development best practices, and quality guidelines.
Required Skills:
- Hands-on experience with:
- Microsoft .NET
- .NET Programming Languages
- Strong working knowledge of:
- Structured Query Language (SQL)
- Database concepts
- Experience with software development organizations and processes.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to develop and maintain secure application solutions.
- Experience working effectively in a small team environment.
- Demonstrated ability to adapt and handle technical challenges.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in:
- Computer Science
- Management Information Systems
- Related technical field
- Experience supporting enterprise applications.
- Experience with government or large-scale application environments.
- Familiarity with application configuration and COTS products.
- Experience with additional Microsoft development technologies.
