Commodity Manager

Role Overview

• Manage and own defined commodity group like Oil-Lubricants, Drives, Refrigerant system commodity and other Mechanical commodities
• Responsible for developing & executing detailed commodity strategy
• Develop Sourcing Strategy for commodity detailing projects
• Accountable for execution of sourcing projects including RFx, continuous improvement, consolidation, etc.
• Responsible for defining negotiations strategy including supplier profiles
• Conduct or support negotiations and supplier selection
• Responsible for delivering commodity productivity through price, value analysis (VA) or continuous improvement projects
• Support supplier segmentation, Supplier Relationship Management (SRM)
• Responsible for commodity continuity of supply
• Support region/sector NPD Procurement teams and tendering team

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering
• 15+ years of working experience in Strategic Sourcing or supply chain
• Good command of English language
• Good command of Microsoft Office Suite
• Excellent problem-solving abilities
• Knowledge of Oracle R12 and SAP MM module software
• Ability to work well in a virtual team environment
