The Senior Project Manager/Scrum Master will lead complex projects, combining traditional project management with Agile practices to ensure timely delivery aligned with business objectives, preferably in the healthcare domain.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and budgets
- Define scope, objectives, and deliverables in alignment with business goals
- Manage resources, vendors, and procurement activities
- Track progress, manage risks, and resolve escalated issues
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders and provide regular status updates
- Ensure compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements
- Oversee project closure, including documentation and lessons learned
- Facilitate all Agile ceremonies: daily stand-ups, sprint planning, backlog refinement, sprint reviews, and retrospectives
- Coach team members and stakeholders on Agile principles and Scrum practices
- Foster a culture of transparency, collaboration, and continuous improvement
- Remove impediments and shield the team from external distractions
- Support the Product Owner in backlog grooming and prioritization
- Track and report Agile metrics (velocity, burndown charts, cycle time) to improve predictability
- Encourage self-organization and accountability within the team
- Promote effective communication between distributed teams in a remote environment
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices
- Ensure adherence to Agile frameworks while adapting to organizational needs
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, IT, or related field
- 10+ years of project management experience; 3+ years in Agile/Scrum environments
- Certifications: PMP and/or CSM required
- Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Proficiency in project management tools (MS Project, Jira, Confluence)

- Understanding of healthcare compliance standards (HIPAA, HL7) is a plus
- Master's preferred
- SAFe or PMI-ACP is a plus
