Senior Software Engineer

Fiveonefour is an early-stage, venture-backed company focused on creating a new kind of data platform that allows developers to easily create and scale data-intensive experiences. The Senior Software Engineer will join the engineering team to work on the Moose open-source framework and its hosting platform, collaborating with product and design teams while mentoring junior engineers.

Responsibilities:

• Build, Maintain, and Operate the Boréal hosting platform and Moose open-source project with the team
• Review and contribute to other engineers' designs and code
• Collaborate with Product and Design to make the product come to life
• Participate in the recruitment process
• Mentor more junior team members
• Represent the company at industry events and conferences

Requirements:

• Async Rust Production Experience
• Robust architectural and design skills
• Strong ability to learn new skills
• Good communication skills
• Robust coding skills in Typescript
• Undaunted by a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
• Comfortable operating in ambiguity, building systems, and making sense of what others might consider chaos
